As an advisor to board of Click, John is responsible for advising on off-site building methods. John's currently developing the innovative and patented methods of construction throughout many of the Click developments, and oversees many aspects of design and feasibility for Click from a modular construction perspective.

With over 40 years in the construction industry, John was employed by the Potton Group in 1965 just after the company was formed and eventually became Group Chief Executive of the market leading Innovative Construction Methodologies (ICM) company 20 years later. He established Potton at the forefront of timber frame industry providing up to 600 houses per month. He formed a Volumetric ICM housing division and over 1000 houses were built using this system, which was then modified to meet the demands of the hotel industry and the construction of 170 Travelodge hotels being constructed throughout the U.K and Ireland. In Partnership with private healthcare operator Bioplan Plc built a number of pioneering ICM day surgery centres in Colchester, Bury St Edmunds, Nottingham and Welwyn Garden City (which was opened by the Queen). In partnership with Tarmac Healthcare, after they were awarded the first PFI hospital at Dartford in Kent, provided a 208 bedroom nurses accommodation using ICM.
